Horsemen Den — 2026 Draft Grades

Goodfellas — A

Goodfellas came in desperate at RB and solved it immediately, landing the top back in this class at #1 overall. Clean, need-based decision-making. They went veteran after that — AJ Brown poised for a big year in New England, DK Metcalf should thrive in Pittsburgh with Rodgers running the show. Malik Willis is decent trade bait mid-season, but nobody's mistaking him for a long-term answer.  Can’t wait to hear how they golfed at NFCC?  Please tell me you wore cargo shorts!

Buffalo 66 — A

Quietly one of the best offseasons in the league. Loses Taylor but replaces him with tradeable depth everywhere — three starting-caliber TEs, eight legitimate WR options, two OL units to fill the gap. The biggest problem this team has is deciding who to start each week. Purdy or Dart at QB is a real debate. RB is simple. WR is almost too loaded. This roster will be a nightmare to face — just hope the "coulda-woulda-shoulda" lineup decisions don't cost them games.

Cellmates — A-

Romey continues to adapt — going veteran over rookie is a smart play when being the league champ, and doing the draft online for year two is genuinely impressive for a man of his advancing age. Montgomery and Hockenson are both going to see heavy volume. Fair warning though: Romey will have Hockenson on the trade block by Week 4. He physically cannot bench McBride regardless of who's throwing the ball.

DDR — B+

Jacobs at 8 is a steal — the legal situation will resolve itself, it was a misunderstanding. Got the RB they needed. Murray has legitimate star potential in Minnesota with O'Connell calling plays, Jefferson running routes, and Hockenson in the middle. This draft addressed the team's biggest concerns heading into 2026.

Gamblers — B+

Solidified the roster in a smart, layered way. Daniel Jones stabilizes the QB room, and Concepcion and Sadiq are high-ceiling rookies — neither will light it up in 2026, but think 2027-2028. Bell in Buffalo could realistically overtake Coleman by midseason. Only real concern is RB depth, but Gibbs is going to be a monster.

TBD — B+

All chips in 2026 and it makes sense. Burrow healthy is a top-3 QB, and that's been the missing piece. The future RB is still out there to be acquired — there's a real case for going back to Oat and dangling a 2027 first-rounder for Barkley.

Goats — B

Oat essentially traded winning now for a shot at winning in 2028 or 2029 — dealt away Burrow and Higgins to do it. Not a strategy I love, because this league rewards winning today. That said, Mendoza should be the guy, Beck is a sleeper in Arizona, Tate fits beautifully in Tennessee under Daboll, and Williams in Washington has every opportunity to be great. If I'm Oat, Barkley is on the trade block right now. Get more 2027 draft picks!

Endzone Animals — B

Price falling to pick 7 had to feel like winning the lottery — would he have taken Jacobs instead if Price was gone? Hurst and Brazzell both have upside worth watching. What really determines this team's ceiling is whether Hall becomes a top-10 RB and Kincaid finally lives up to his potential at TE.

Horsemen — B-

Waffled between Price and Lemon, and honestly if the Lawrence trade was on the table earlier, Price wins that coin flip every time. Grade takes a hit for the forfeited 7th. That said, the QB situation is covered for two more years. Lemon has  real upside. The doubters on Simpson are wrong — the Rams coaching staff doesn't waste picks, and he could be a legitimate starter by 2028. Chris Bell, when healthy, is a top-15 talent. Best case scenario: he sits out 2026 and gets paired with Manning in 2027.  Watch Claiborne steal carries from Aaron Jones!

Utter Dominance — B-

Dulich is the steal of this draft — 100-plus targets in 2026 is realistic, a poor man's McBride. Coleman was a necessity pick, not a luxury, given the RB situation. The wild card: if Kamara doesn't end up in Denver, Coleman is in a real fight for touches with Harvey.

Incubus — C+

The Tyson pick is all upside, but the injury history from college is real and the concern is legitimate. Rolling the dice with two 30+ year old RBs when Price was sitting there — a near-certain TD machine — feels like a miss. Stowers is intriguing in Philly; the WR skill set translates to TE, but he can't block. High ceiling, real questions.

Terry Schiavos — C

Boston in Cleveland is an interesting situation — their QB room is murky and they're somehow accumulating WRs under 25 at an alarming rate. The rest of the picks are names on paper. Hard to project meaningful contributions from this haul.

Co's Pros — C
Best pick of the draft is Emmett Johnson — he's going to get touches in KC, and let's be honest, Walker has a history of staying on the injury report. Meyers is a sneaky add in Jacksonville, but whether he's a real factor depends entirely on whether Hunter plays offense — could be #3 or could be buried at #4. Drafting Watson is like taking home the last girl home at 4am. Bonus points for golfing with Goodfellas — you paid for your sins.

Bohemians — D

Love Bill's willingness to swing big, but surrendering a 2027 first-round pick is a steep price even for Taylor, who heads back into the draft. This is an all-in 2026 bet — he has to win this year to justify it. Oduze and Okonkwo are both primed for breakout seasons. Hurts for Lawrence are roughly even. McLaurin will get his targets in Washington. RB Washington is an elite athlete stuck behind Jeanty — don't expect fantasy points from kickoff returns.
