RB led the league: running backs generated 255 points, or 19.36% of all scoring. Quarterbacks were just behind at 18.75%. Wide receivers used 30% of all starting lineup slots but generated only 14.05% of the points.

The Bambi Finding

The surprise isn't that quarterbacks score a lot. It's that tight end, kicker and offensive line each produced more points per starting slot than running back in Week 1. And the league's three mandatory WR spots consumed 30% of every lineup while producing only 14.05% of league scoring. One week isn't enough to declare that structural, but now we have a baseline. Every week we add another 140 starts and see whether the pattern survives.
